The Promoter
The promoter is Winners Warband Ltd
(“Winners Warband”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Legal business name: Winners Warband Ltd
Company number: 17346112
Registered in: England and Wales
Business address: 61 Cedern Avenue, Elborough, Weston-Super-Mare, England, BS24 8PE
Support email: support@winnerswarband.co.uk
Please use the support email above for questions, complaints or
correspondence relating to a competition. Postal entries must be sent
only to the separate postal-entry address stated in section 06 and on
the relevant competition page.
02
Eligibility
- Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
- Competitions are open only to people legally resident in the United Kingdom, unless the competition page expressly states otherwise.
- Entrants must enter in their own name and provide accurate, complete and current contact, billing and delivery information.
- Employees, officers and contractors of Winners Warband, and members of their immediate households, may not enter.
- We may require proof of identity, age, address and UK residency before accepting an entry or awarding a prize.
An entrant must be legally able to receive, possess and use the
advertised prize. Additional verification may apply to replica
weapons, blades or other age-restricted products.
03
My Warband Accounts
A My Warband account is required for paid online
entry so that age declarations, participation limits, account
restrictions, orders and valid ticket numbers remain connected to
the correct person. The free postal route does not require an online
account.
Account holders must keep their details accurate and must take
reasonable steps to protect access to their email account and My
Warband login. You are responsible for activity carried out through
your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
Each person should use only one My Warband account. We may merge,
restrict or suspend duplicate accounts where reasonably necessary to
enforce entry limits, protect a competition or prevent misuse.
Account creation requires a date of birth, confirmation that the
customer is aged 18 or over, and selection of a monthly paid-entry
limit. Available selections include £0 and no personal limit. An
overall £500 monthly operator cap applies across payment methods and
credit-card-funded entries are separately capped at £250 per calendar
month. Competition limits also apply.
Information displayed in My Warband is provided for convenience.
Winners Warband’s verified order, payment, entry and draw records will
remain the definitive record if a display delay, duplication or
technical error occurs.
04
Paid Online Entry
Paid entries must be submitted through the relevant competition page
and completed using a payment method accepted at checkout. An online
entry is not accepted until payment has been successfully authorised
and the order has passed any applicable validation or fraud checks.
Entrants are responsible for reviewing the competition page, quantity
selected, price and contact details before completing checkout.
Entries received after the published closing date and time will not be
accepted.
An order confirmation confirms receipt of an order but does not
guarantee inclusion where payment is declined, reversed, refunded,
charged back, duplicated, submitted after closing or otherwise found
to be invalid.
05
Prices, Offers & Payment
Entry prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable
taxes unless stated otherwise. Quantity discounts, promotional prices
or discount codes may be offered subject to their stated conditions.
Payment must be made using a method accepted at checkout. We are not
responsible for an entry that is not completed because a bank, card
issuer, payment provider or fraud-prevention service declines or delays
a transaction.
We may correct an obvious pricing, stock or technical error before
accepting an entry. Where payment has already been taken for an entry
affected by such an error, we will offer an appropriate correction or
refund.
06
Free Postal Entry Route
Entrants may enter a competition without purchasing an online entry
by following the free postal entry instructions on the relevant
competition page and in this section.
Each postal entry must be sent separately by
Royal Mail First Class post to:
WINNERS WARBAND FREE ENTRY
Winners Warband Ltd
61 Cedern Avenue
Elborough
Weston-Super-Mare
England
BS24 8PE
Each separate envelope represents one entry only.
Only one postal entry and one competition may be included in each
envelope. Multiple entries in one envelope, bulk submissions,
hand-delivered entries and entries sent by any method other than Royal
Mail First Class post will not be accepted.
Each postal entry must clearly and legibly include:
- The entrant’s full legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Full postal address.
- Email address.
- Telephone number.
- The exact title of the competition being entered.
- A clear statement confirming that the entrant has read and accepts these Terms & Conditions.
The details supplied must match the entrant’s genuine identity and, if
the entrant has a My Warband account, should match the details on that
account.
Postal entries must be physically received at the stated address
before the advertised closing date and time. Posting before the
deadline is not sufficient. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt,
and we are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed,
damaged, underpaid, incomplete or delivered after closing.
A complete, timely and valid postal entry will receive one entry into
the relevant draw and will have the same chance of winning as one paid
online entry. No purchase is necessary to use the postal entry route,
although the entrant is responsible for postage and stationery costs.
07
Entry Limits & Validation
Each competition may have a maximum number of total entries and a
maximum number of entries permitted per person, household, account,
payment method or other clearly stated category. Applicable limits
will be displayed on the competition page.
Paid and postal entries may be counted together when applying an
entrant’s maximum entry limit. Entrants must not use multiple names,
accounts, addresses, email addresses, payment methods or third parties
to avoid a stated limit.
We may reject, cancel or reduce duplicate, excess or invalid entries.
Where an otherwise genuine paid order exceeds a clearly stated limit,
we may refund the affected excess entries using the original payment
method.
08
Ticket Number Allocation
Paid ticket numbers are allocated automatically as soon as payment is
successfully confirmed. Valid postal entries are checked and allocated
into the same competition ticket pool before the draw is locked.
Allocated ticket numbers are displayed on the order confirmation,
supplied by email and recorded in My Warband where the order is linked
to an account. Guest customers must ensure that the email address and
telephone number supplied at checkout remain accessible.
If a payment notification, postal validation or technical process is
delayed, allocation may take longer. A reasonable processing delay
will not invalidate a competition, provided every valid entry is
included before the winner is selected.
Ticket numbers are allocated for identification within the draw. No
particular number carries a greater or lesser chance of winning than
another valid entry.
09
Closing Dates & Sold-Out Competitions
Every competition will close on the date and at the time displayed on
its competition page, or earlier if all available entries are sold
where the page states that the competition closes when sold out.
We will not extend a closing date merely because fewer entries than
expected have been sold. A closing date may be changed only where
circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary, to
protect entrants, correct a material issue or comply with law.
Any material change will be communicated clearly and applied fairly.
We will not change a closing date in a way intended to unfairly
disadvantage existing entrants.
10
The Draw & Winner Selection
The winner will be selected at random from all valid ticket numbers
included in the draw, using the draw method identified on the
competition page, draw announcement or Winners Warband website.
Prizes are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance.
The advertised draw date and time will be shown on the relevant
competition page and in the Drawing Hall. We normally aim to draw the
winner approximately one hour after the competition's advertised
closing date and time. The winner is guaranteed to be drawn
no later than 24 hours after the advertised closing date and
time, once all valid paid and postal entries have been checked
and the ticket pool has been locked. We will take
reasonable steps to ensure that the draw is conducted fairly and that
a record of the result is retained.
If an exceptional technical, security, eligibility or integrity issue
makes it unsafe or impossible to complete the draw within that
24-hour period, we will publish the reason for the delay and the
revised expected draw time in the Drawing Hall as soon as reasonably
practicable. A delay will never be used to change the eligible ticket
pool or improve the Promoter's position.
The result is final except where a technical error, duplicated number,
ineligible entry, fraud or other material irregularity reasonably
requires investigation or correction.
11
Draw Reveals & Public Records
Draw status, the scheduled time and completed results are shown in
the Winners Warband Drawing Hall. A visual ceremony may be watched
when the result becomes available or replayed later.
The visual ceremony does not select or alter the winning ticket. The
result is calculated from the locked eligible pool, committed inputs
and the scheduled external randomness, then recorded before it is
revealed. A display, animation or connection failure will not
invalidate a draw that was otherwise completed fairly and correctly.
Where a material technical issue affects the draw process itself, we
may pause and investigate. Any retry must use the same locked pool,
committed inputs and scheduled randomness; the system must not select
a different outcome merely because a display or delivery step failed.
12
Winner Contact & Verification
The selected entrant will initially be treated as the provisional
winner. We will contact them using the email address, telephone number
or other contact details supplied with the winning entry. A notice may
also appear in My Warband where applicable.
The provisional winner must respond and complete any reasonable
identity, age, address, residency and eligibility checks within
14 days of our first contact, unless we agree otherwise
in writing.
We may ask the provisional winner to provide photographic
identification, proof of address, order information or other evidence
reasonably needed to confirm eligibility and protect the integrity of
the competition.
If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in
time, refuses the prize, fails verification or is ineligible, we may
withdraw their entitlement and select an alternative winner from the
remaining valid entries using a fair random process.
13
Prizes & Advertised Choices
The prize will be described on the relevant competition page. Where a
competition advertises a single fixed prize, that is the prize the
winner will receive, subject to the availability provisions in these
terms.
Where a competition expressly offers a choice of prizes, products,
variants or values, the provisional winner may select only from the
choices stated on that competition page. The winner must make their
selection within the reasonable timeframe we specify.
Once a prize choice has been confirmed and ordering, transfer or
fulfilment has begun, it cannot normally be changed. Unless the
competition page expressly advertises one, there is no cash
alternative.
A prize may not be sold, assigned or transferred to another person
before it is awarded without our prior written agreement.
14
Prize Images, Descriptions & Value
We take reasonable care to describe prizes accurately. Product
photographs, supplier images, mock-ups, digital compositions and
AI-assisted artwork may be used for presentation or illustration.
Entrants should rely on the written prize description and
specifications shown on the competition page.
Minor differences in packaging, finish, shade, product photography,
accessories or manufacturer presentation may occur, provided the
supplied prize remains the advertised item or an appropriate
equivalent under section 17.
Any stated retail value is a reasonable estimate at the time the
competition is published. Market prices, sales, availability and
retailer pricing may change and do not create an entitlement to a cash
payment for any later difference in value.
Unless expressly stated, third-party brand names and trademarks are
used only to identify a prize. A competition is not sponsored,
endorsed or administered by the relevant manufacturer, franchise,
retailer or social-media platform.
15
Prize Stock, Sourcing & Fulfilment
Depending on the competition, a prize may already be held by Winners
Warband, may be purchased after the winner has been verified, or may
be supplied directly by a manufacturer, retailer, distributor or
other reputable fulfilment partner.
A prize may therefore be dispatched by Winners Warband or delivered
directly to the winner by a selected supplier. Direct supplier
fulfilment does not reduce the winner’s entitlement to receive the
advertised prize, subject to these terms.
Where a prize must be sourced after the draw, we will make reasonable
efforts to order it promptly once the winner has completed
verification and, where relevant, confirmed their chosen option.
16
Delivery & Collection
Standard delivery to an eligible UK address is included unless the
competition page clearly states otherwise. We may require collection
or make special delivery arrangements for unusually large, valuable,
fragile or restricted prizes.
The winner must provide a complete, safe and accurate delivery address
and any information reasonably required by the courier or supplier.
The winner is responsible for being available to receive the prize,
rearranging missed delivery where possible and following reasonable
courier instructions.
Delivery dates are estimates and may depend on stock availability,
supplier processing, courier services, identity or age checks and
circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will keep the winner
reasonably informed of a material delay known to us.
Risk in a prize passes to the winner upon completed delivery or
collection. This does not affect any rights relating to damage, faults
or non-conformity existing at the time of delivery.
17
Prize Availability & Substitution
We take reasonable steps to assess prize availability before and
during a competition. Supplier stock, production, licensing or
retailer availability may nevertheless change without notice.
If an advertised prize becomes genuinely unavailable for reasons
outside our reasonable control, we may offer:
- The same product sourced from another reputable supplier.
- A newer or reasonably comparable version.
- An alternative prize of equal or greater reasonable retail value.
- Another fair remedy agreed with the winner.
We will not substitute a prize merely to reduce our cost. Any
substitute will be selected reasonably and will, so far as practicable,
preserve the nature and value of the advertised prize.
18
Age-Restricted & Replica Items
Replica weapons, swords, knives and other age-restricted products will
be supplied only to a verified adult and only where their sale,
possession and delivery are lawful.
The winner may be required to provide photographic identification to
Winners Warband, the supplier or the courier. Age-verified delivery,
an adult signature or collection with identification may be required.
Display swords, replica weapons and similar collectibles are not toys.
Following delivery, the winner is responsible for lawful possession,
storage, display, use, transport and any onward transfer of the item.
If the selected winner cannot lawfully receive a restricted prize, we
may provide any alternative expressly offered on the competition page
or another fair and lawful remedy. We are not required to deliver an
item contrary to law.
19
Damaged, Faulty or Missing Prizes
The winner should inspect the prize promptly after delivery and notify
us as soon as reasonably possible if it arrives damaged, incomplete,
materially different from the description or does not arrive when
expected.
Photographs, packaging, courier information or other evidence may be
required to investigate a delivery or product issue. The winner should
retain packaging until the issue has been resolved.
Manufacturer or retailer warranties may apply directly to the prize.
We will provide reasonable assistance in contacting the relevant
supplier and will not exclude any legal responsibility that cannot
lawfully be excluded.
20
Cancellations & Refunds
Entries are normally processed and included in the relevant
competition shortly after payment validation. Except where required by
law or expressly stated in these terms, an accepted competition entry
cannot be cancelled, transferred or refunded simply because the
entrant changes their mind.
We may provide a refund or correction where there has been a duplicate
payment, a verified website or pricing error, an entry accepted after
closing, an entry above a clearly stated limit, or another issue for
which a refund is fair and appropriate.
If we cancel a competition without completing a valid draw, paid
entries will be refunded using the original payment method unless
another lawful remedy is agreed with the entrant.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits any statutory rights that an
entrant may have.
21
Chargebacks & Reversed Payments
An entry linked to a payment that is reversed, charged back, cancelled
or found to be unauthorised before the draw may be removed from the
competition.
If a payment is reversed after a prize has been awarded, we may
investigate the circumstances and take proportionate steps to recover
losses or withhold fulfilment where the winning entry was not validly
paid.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from raising a genuine
payment dispute. Customers are encouraged to contact us first so that
we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue promptly.
22
Fair Play, Disqualification & Misuse
We may reject or cancel entries, restrict or suspend an account,
withhold a prize or disqualify an entrant where we reasonably believe
there has been:
- Fraud, payment abuse or use of stolen or unauthorised payment details.
- False identity, false contact details or attempted impersonation.
- Use of duplicate accounts or third parties to evade entry limits.
- Manipulation, automation, scraping, hacking or interference with the website, entry system or draw.
- Abuse of postal entries, discount codes, promotions, refunds or chargebacks.
- Collusion, threatening behaviour, harassment or unlawful conduct.
- A material breach of these terms or competition-specific rules.
Any action will be taken reasonably and proportionately after
considering the available information. We may request an explanation
or evidence before making a final decision where appropriate.
23
Publicity & Winner Information
We may publish or announce the winner’s surname, county or broad
location and winning ticket number through our website, live stream,
email or social media.
We may invite the winner to provide a photograph, video, testimonial
or participate in further publicity. Any promotional participation
beyond the limited winner announcement above will be voluntary unless
a competition page clearly states a reasonable requirement before
entry.
A winner may contact us to raise a reasonable concern about
publication of their information. We may still disclose information
where required by law, a court, regulator or advertising authority.
24
Website & Technical Issues
We take reasonable care to keep the website, My Warband, checkout and
entry systems available, accurate and secure, but uninterrupted access
cannot be guaranteed.
We are not responsible for an entry that is lost, delayed, incomplete
or not received because of an entrant’s device, internet connection,
incorrect details, email filtering, payment failure, postal delay or a
third-party service outside our reasonable control.
If a technical error materially affects a competition, we may pause,
correct or rerun the affected process in a fair and transparent
manner. Where practical, we will preserve valid entries that were not
affected by the issue.
25
Responsible Participation
Entering a competition should be an optional form of entertainment.
Entrants should spend only what they can comfortably afford and should
not enter in an attempt to solve financial problems.
My Warband provides monthly paid-entry limits, a minimum six-month
suspension and permanent account closure. A selected financial limit
cannot be exceeded. During a suspension, the account cannot enter and
must not receive marketing from Winners Warband.
We may review available participation and account-control information
and apply proportionate contact, limits or restrictions where we
reasonably identify a potential harm concern.
The free postal entry route remains available in accordance with
section 06.
26
Data Protection
We use personal information to create and administer My Warband
accounts, process orders and payments, validate entries, allocate
ticket numbers, conduct draws, contact and verify winners, prevent
fraud, fulfil and deliver prizes, handle complaints and comply with
legal obligations.
Where a supplier or courier delivers a prize directly, we may provide
the winner’s name, address, telephone number, email address and any
information reasonably necessary for identity checks, age verification
and fulfilment.
Further information about how we collect, use, share and retain
personal data, and about individual rights, is set out in our Privacy
Policy.
Entering a competition or creating a My Warband account does not by
itself provide consent to receive marketing. Marketing choices are
collected and managed separately, and customers may unsubscribe in
accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
27
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be
unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury
caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or legal
rights that cannot be excluded.
Subject to the paragraph above, Winners Warband is not responsible for
loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when an entry was
accepted, or for business losses suffered by an entrant acting wholly
or mainly for commercial purposes.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside
our reasonable control, including postal disruption, supplier failure,
courier disruption, platform outages, severe weather, fire, flood,
industrial action, governmental action or changes in law. We will take
reasonable steps to minimise the effect on entrants.
28
Changes to Competitions or These Terms
We may update these general terms to reflect changes in law,
regulation, technology, website features or the operation of Winners
Warband.
Updated terms will apply from the date shown at the top of this page.
The terms in force when an entrant entered a competition will normally
continue to govern that entry.
We will not apply a change retrospectively in a way that unfairly
disadvantages an entrant, except where a change is required by law,
necessary to correct a clear error or beneficial to entrants.
29
Complaints
Complaints should first be sent to
support@winnerswarband.co.uk. Please include the entrant’s
name, relevant competition, order number if applicable, ticket number
if known and a clear description of the issue.
We will aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and provide a
substantive response within a reasonable time. Complex complaints may
require additional investigation, in which case we will keep the
complainant reasonably informed.
30
Governing Law
These terms and each competition are governed by the law of England
and Wales.
Entrants who live in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain any mandatory
legal rights to bring proceedings in their home courts. Nothing in
these terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable UK law.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or
unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
