Player Protection& Standards
Protection, transparency and accountability in one record.
These are the measures Winners Warband uses to support responsible participation, transparent draws and accountable operation.
Please read this page alongside the individual competition details and our Terms & Conditions. Competition-specific information takes priority where applicable.
Published measures
Player protection
Winners Warband is restricted to adults aged 18 or over. My Warband records a date of birth and 18+ declaration, provides monthly paid-entry limits including £0, enforces an overall £500 monthly operator cap and a separate £250 credit-card cap, supports a minimum six-month suspension and allows permanent account closure. Suspended accounts cannot participate or receive marketing.

Monitoring and intervention
Account activity, selected limits, current-month spend and restrictions are available for review in Warband HQ. Indicators such as an incomplete protection profile, a restriction or approaching a personal or operator limit are flagged for staff review so proportionate support or restrictions can be considered.
Published measures
Transparent competitions
Each competition identifies the prize, entry price, maximum allocation, customer cap, closing information, free-entry route and draw mechanism. Winners are awarded in accordance with the laws of chance. Valid paid and postal entries have an equal chance per ticket and join the same competition pool.
Published measures
Auditable draws
The eligible ticket pool and draw inputs are sealed before the scheduled external randomness becomes available. The result is calculated through the documented computer process, recorded and made publicly checkable in The Drawing Hall. The visual reveal cannot select or change the recorded result.
Published measures
Free entry and competition timing
The free postal route is promoted before purchase and allows sufficient time for a valid entry to arrive. Competitions remain open for an appropriate published period and are drawn after the stated closing time.
Published measures
Prize commitments
We do not reduce an advertised prize, extend a draw or cancel it merely because paid-entry sales are lower than expected. Winners are contacted and prizes are fulfilled in accordance with the published competition terms.
Published measures
Responsible marketing
Marketing must comply with the applicable CAP and BCAP Codes, must not target under-18s or vulnerable people, and must not present competition entry as an escape from personal or financial problems, an alternative to employment or a route to financial security.
Published measures
Complaints and support
Our published complaints process provides acknowledgement, investigation, internal review and, where required, an appropriate independent dispute-resolution route. Responsible Play information also links to independent financial and emotional-support organisations.
Published measures
Accountability
Customer controls, complaints, draw records and operational issues are reviewed through Winners Warband administration. We take reasonable steps to ensure suppliers and promotional partners follow the standards relevant to their role, including through contractual requirements and corrective action where necessary.
Published measures
Code review
We periodically review these measures against the current Code and record improvements or corrective action. We aim to work constructively with DCMS, relevant industry bodies and other operators on good practice.
Published measures
Code status
Winners Warband is implementing the DCMS Voluntary Code of Good Practice for Prize Draw Operators. We will describe ourselves as an Operator Signatory only after DCMS has confirmed that status and added Winners Warband to its published list.
