Eligibility

• Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
• Competitions are open only to people legally resident in the United Kingdom.
• Entrants must provide accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information.
• Employees, officers and contractors of Winners Warband, and members of their immediate households, may not enter.
• We may require proof of age, identity and UK residency before accepting an entry or releasing a prize.

Certain prizes, including replica swords, blades or age-restricted items, may require further age verification at dispatch or delivery.

How to Enter

The available entry methods and full instructions will be displayed on the relevant competition page. Paid online entries are accepted only after successful payment and completion of any required entry steps.

Where a question is used, the entrant must submit the answer required by the competition page. An entry that does not satisfy the stated entry requirements will not be included in the draw.

Entries received after the published closing date and time will not be accepted.

Free Entry Route

Where a free postal entry route is offered, entrants may enter without purchasing an online entry by following the free-entry instructions displayed on the relevant competition page.

Unless the competition page states otherwise, a postal entry must be sent by first- or second-class post to:

Each postal entry must clearly include the entrant’s full name, date of birth, postal address, email address, telephone number, exact competition title and the required answer, if applicable. One entry must be submitted per separate envelope or postcard.

Postal entries must be received before the advertised closing date and time. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. Valid free entries are treated equally in the draw.

Entry Numbers & Limits

Entry numbers are allocated after an eligible entry has been successfully processed. An order confirmation alone does not guarantee inclusion where payment fails, is reversed or the entry is otherwise invalid.

Each competition may have a maximum number of total entries and a maximum number of entries permitted per person. These limits will be stated on the competition page.

We may cancel duplicate or excess entries and refund any amount paid for entries that exceed a clearly stated per-person limit.

Prices, Discounts & Payment

Entry prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Quantity discounts or promotional offers may be applied automatically or under separate promotional terms.

Payment must be made through a payment method accepted at checkout. We are not responsible for entries that are not completed because a bank, card issuer or payment provider declines or delays payment.

We may correct an obvious pricing or technical error before accepting an entry. We will not increase the price of an entry after it has been accepted.

Closing Dates

Every competition will close on the date and at the time displayed on its competition page, whether or not all available entries have been sold.

We will not extend a closing date merely because entry sales are lower than expected. A closing date may be changed only where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary, or where required to protect entrants or comply with law. Any change will be clearly communicated and will not unfairly disadvantage existing entrants.

The Draw & Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries included in the draw, using the draw method identified on the competition page or in the draw announcement.

The draw will normally take place as soon as reasonably practicable after the competition closes. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the draw is conducted fairly and that a record of the result is retained.

The result is final, except where an error, ineligible entry, fraud or other irregularity requires review.

Winner Contact & Verification

We will contact the provisional winner using the email address, telephone number or other details supplied with the winning entry.

The provisional winner must respond and complete any reasonable identity, age, residency and eligibility checks within 14 days of our first contact, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

If the provisional winner cannot be contacted, does not respond in time, refuses the prize, fails verification or is ineligible, we may withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.

Prizes

The prize or available prize choices will be described on the relevant competition page. Unless expressly stated, there is no cash alternative and a prize may not be transferred to another person before it is awarded.

Where the winner is offered a choice, the choice must be made within the timeframe we specify and is subject to the availability provisions below.

Images are for identification and illustration. Minor differences in packaging, finish, colour or manufacturer presentation may occur, provided the supplied prize remains the advertised product or a reasonable equivalent.

Supplier Fulfilment & Delivery

Unless stated otherwise, prizes may be ordered and dispatched directly to the winner by the manufacturer, retailer, distributor or another reputable supplier selected by Winners Warband.

To arrange direct delivery, we may provide the supplier and its courier with the winner’s name, delivery address, telephone number, email address and information reasonably required for age verification, delivery or fulfilment.

Standard delivery to an eligible UK address is included unless the competition page states otherwise. The winner is responsible for providing a safe, complete and accurate delivery address and for being available to accept delivery.

Delivery dates are estimates and may depend on supplier stock, courier services, age-verification requirements and circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Prize Availability & Substitution

We take reasonable steps to confirm prize availability before and during a competition. Supplier stock may nevertheless change without notice.

If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our reasonable control, we may offer the same product from a different reputable supplier, a reasonable equivalent of equal or greater value, or another remedy agreed with the winner.

We will not substitute a prize merely to reduce our cost, and any substitute will be reasonably comparable to the advertised prize.

Age-Restricted Prizes

Replica weapons, swords, knives and other age-restricted products will be supplied only to a verified adult and solely where lawful.

The winner may be required to provide photographic identification to Winners Warband, the supplier or the courier. Age-verified delivery and an adult signature may be required.

Display swords and similar collectibles are not toys. The winner is responsible for their lawful possession, storage, use and transport after delivery.

Cancellations & Refunds

Entries are normally processed and allocated promptly. Except where required by law, entries cannot be cancelled or refunded after they have been accepted and entered into a draw.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits any statutory rights that an entrant may have.

If we cancel a competition without completing a valid draw, we will refund paid entries using the original payment method, unless another lawful remedy is agreed with the entrant.

Disqualification & Misuse

We may reject or cancel entries, suspend an account, withhold a prize or disqualify an entrant where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, chargeback abuse, false information, automated or manipulated entry activity, collusion, interference with the website or draw, a breach of an entry limit, or threatening or unlawful conduct.

Any decision will be made reasonably and proportionately after considering the available information.

Publicity & Winner Information

We may publish the winner’s surname, county and winning entry number, and may announce the result through our website or social media.

We may invite the winner to provide a photograph, testimonial or further publicity, but any additional promotional participation will be voluntary unless the competition page clearly states otherwise.

A winner may contact us to raise a reasonable concern about publication of their information. We may still disclose information where required by law or an advertising regulator.

Website & Technical Issues

We take reasonable care to keep the website and entry systems available, accurate and secure, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We are not responsible for an entry that is lost, delayed, incomplete or not received because of an entrant’s device, internet connection, incorrect details, payment failure, postal delay or a third-party service outside our reasonable control.

If a technical error materially affects a competition, we may pause, correct or rerun the affected process in a fair and transparent manner.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the paragraph above, Winners Warband is not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable when an entry was accepted, or for business losses suffered by an entrant acting wholly or mainly for commercial purposes.

Manufacturer warranties, guarantees or support may apply directly to the prize. We will provide reasonable assistance where a winner reports a delivery problem or fault.

Data Protection

We use personal information to administer entries, take payment, conduct draws, contact and verify winners, arrange supplier fulfilment, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Entry into a competition does not automatically provide consent to receive marketing. Marketing preferences may be managed separately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these general terms to reflect changes in law, regulation, technology or the operation of Winners Warband.

Changes will not be applied retrospectively in a way that unfairly disadvantages an entrant. The terms in effect when a competition was entered will normally continue to govern that entry, except where a change is required by law or is clearly beneficial to entrants.

Governing Law & Complaints

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Entrants who live in Scotland or Northern Ireland retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in their home courts.
